Accreditation

Accreditation is the process of an outside agency evaluating the performance of the School of Education. The School of Education undergoes accreditation review by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the California Commission of Teacher Credentialing (CCTC).

We are proud to announce that California State University Channel Islands was granted accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) in May of 2007.  Accreditation is widely recognized by employers, professional associations, and other colleges and universities.
