Teaching Credential Programs
CI teaching credential programs prepare public school educators for teaching in grades P-12. All prospective teachers in CI credential programs will develop the necessary skills to meet the needs of the diverse student population found in California public schools, including students with special needs and English-language learners. All programs offer a unique blend of theory and classroom practice, offering up-to-date, standards-based instruction.

Important Deadline Information
There is no Spring admission for the Education Specialist or M.A. programs. Application to all Credential Programs is a dual process. CI Admissions and Records require a Post-Baccalaureate application. CI Credential Programs require a separate application. For consideration to the Fall 2012 Credential programs, prospective students must apply by the dealine of April 18, 2012. If you need to schedule an appointment with an Analyst to go over all necessary items required for your application for Fall 2012, please call (805) 437-8953 as soon as possible.
University Post-Baccalaureate applications filed during the filing period for Fall 2012 must be postmarked by Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Online application services for the University application are available at www.csumentor.edu.
