Credentials

The Credential Office provides essential services to credential candidates, credential program applicants, and faculty involved with the Teacher Preparation Program. Individuals may contact the Office to schedule an appointment with an advisor for information about basic credentials, entrance and other requirements of CSUCI credential programs. Specific functions of the Office include: counseling and advising to program and credential applicants, monitoring students’ progress through the program, and advising in the credential application process. Hours and Location

 Summer hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday 7:30-4:30. If you need to schedule an appointment after normal business hours please call the office at (805) 437-8953.

Credential Office Staff

Patti Pulido Credential Coordinator. Oversees the Credential Office.  Provides information for Teacher Diversity Project, APLE program, general advising, program information, Education website, newsletter, special projects and recruitment.

Tina Torres Senior Credential Analyst.  Admission and Program Completion Application Processing, including initial application review for determination of complete files. Submit credential applications to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for issuance of credentials. Issue Letter of Completion to graduating students.

Barbara Traversa Administrative Support Assistant. Provides reception, general information, forms, and test bulletins. Schedules advising appointments and program interviews. Maintains student files and accepts program applications.

Christina Canchola Credential Analyst I.  Admission and Application Processing, including initial application review for determination of complete files for Multiple Subject Program, BCLAD.
