This year, the School of Education will host its first ever Pinning Ceremony. This event is intended to honor the work our students have done to complete degrees, programs, credentials, and to mark their achievements as a milestone in their educational careers.

The pinning ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 12 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the North Quad. Refreshments will immediately follow in Petit Salon. Please dress in your cap and gown (if you will not have a cap and gown, business casual is appropriate).

Please note that check-in begins at 1:15 PM and ends at 1:45 PM to ensure a timely start opened by President Erika Beck and Dean Brian Sevier. Check-in will be located in the North Quad.

You may bring up to 4 guests and you will receive one parking pass, which you can pick up May 7 - May 10 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, or May 11 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Graduate Studies Center Welcome Desk in El Dorado Hall. Additional parking passes may be purchased for $6.00 at any one of our permit dispensers located in Lots A1, A2, A3 and A4.

Congratulations on this academic and personal achievement! We look forward to seeing you and your guests on May 12th.
