COVID-19: FALL 2020 SCHEDULING & COURSE INFORMATION

Elementary Education Credential Emphasis

Does the idea of earning your Bachelor’s Degree and your Teaching Credential in 4 years appeal to you? Do you want to work with elementary age students (grades K-8), to teach a variety of subjects, and to play a part in building the foundation of students’ lifelong learning? Then the Integrated Teaching Elementary (Multiple Subject) Credential Emphasis BA is for you!

Students in the Liberal Studies: Integrated Teaching Elementary Emphasis complete a baccalaureate degree in Liberal Studies and the Elementary (Multiple Subject) Teaching Credential. Students can complete the requirements for both the BA Liberal Studies and the credential in 4 years, or eight semesters.

NOTE: Completing the Elementary (Multiple Subject) Credential requires that students apply for admission to School of Education in their Junior year.

Integrated Teaching Credential Emphasis students can also begin their pursuit of a Bilingual Authorization as part of the coursework. The details can be found on the Bilingual Authorization webpage.
