Are you a teacher ready to explore and refine your school-wide leadership skills? Or perhaps you work at a university and have a professional goal to lead your division, program, or department? The MA in Educational Leadership can prepare you for either of these future careers.
The Master of Arts in Educational Leadership is designed for professionals at the P12 and Higher Educational levels to develop skills related to leadership, community building, and communication with individuals and groups.
The P12 Emphasis prepares candidates for leadership positions as school principals and for a variety of school leadership positions for which the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential is required.
The Higher Education Emphasis prepares candidates for increasingly responsible leadership positions in public and private universities and community colleges.
Completion of this degree prepares graduates to be effective educational leaders by expanding their knowledge of organizations, systems, law, management, assessment, and evaluation of personnel.
