For the 2021/2022 Academic Year, the School of Education at California State University Channel Islands is proud to welcome Dr. Assadullah Sadiq, Assistant Professor of Education- Early Childhood Studies to the School’s team.
Dr. Assadullah Sadiq joins us from Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his PhD in Language and Literacy Education from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, in 2020. His research focuses on the language and literacy practices of refugee students, first language maintenance and early literacy practices from minority homes. In his free time, he enjoys walking, reading, and listening to music.
