February 4, 2021 - Danna Lomax, School of Education Lecturer and Teaching Tolerance Advisory Board member, worked with other members of the Teaching Tolerance Advisory Board to provide suggestions on things educators can do to create more equity in their classrooms and schools. With a new presidential administration working towards its "first 100 days" goals, the Teaching Tolerance Advisory Board decided to work towards their own 100 days goals - speaking up against unjust or biased speech, creating an anti-racist anti-bias curriculum, helping connect families with local agencies to meet basic needs (i.e. food, housing, medical care), and more.
