Expanding Early Learning Access Through Home-Based Childcare
The ECS Department and members of the Project Group is a developing initiative designed to expand access to high-quality early learning in Ventura County. As a companion to the Early Childhood Care and Education Center (ECCEC), the FCCN aims to support current and recent CSUCI Early Childhood Studies (ECS) students in launching and sustaining licensed family child care (FCC) homes in underserved communities.
By investing in culturally responsive, community-based care, the FCCN supports families where they are, while extending the reach of CSUCI’s early learning mission.
